Every now and then, my characters stand around twiddling their thumbs while saying… “I don’t know, whatcha wanna do?”
Errr, this can be beyond frustrating. Of course, this always seems to happen during the naughty sexy scenes. They need to get it on, the scene has built up to it, the tension is there, but they are just twiddling their thumbs. Talk about blue balls and empty cores.
Some things I do to help me out, because erotic romance is fantasy and mine deal with vampires. Hot and wild. A way for me to keep the scenes fresh and interesting is pulling out Cosmo. Yes, right, Cosmo. Believe it or not, the helps. Really.
Cosmo doesn’t tell me what to do, but gives me hot ideas that I can transform into steamy hot and oh-so-fun sex scenes. Right now, they are running a 30 things to do with a naked man.
After reading a few, I realize several of the thirty are already in my book. So now, I just need to pick a few that aren’t. And ohhh, it’s going to be fun. So far I like several of the 30 things.
I may have to add #1, #2 and #7 in the book or all three in one scene. What’s your favorite things to do with a naked man?
